The history of the French housing rights association "Droit au Logement" (Right to Housing) as told by filmmakers and vidéastes from the time of its founding in 1990 to the much publicised squatt of a Paris orphanage Paris in 1993. The film recounts the growing mastery by the association of the relationship between images, film, the camera and the agenda and preoccupations of politicians. The DAL was on its way to becoming an innovative new force in French social politics.
