January 1982. François Mitterrand has just been elected and Nicolae Ceausescu has ordered the assassination of two Romanian dissidents and French citizens in Paris: the writers Virgil Tanase and Paul Goma. At the height of the Cold War, the Romanian agent turns himself over to French intelligence and they undertake an incredible operation. Today, a new interpretation of these events, tightly linked to French domestic policy, is conceivable.
