When the Algerian singer, Kadda Cherif Hadria, leaves his adopted Paris life for a tour of Canada's most prestigious jazz festivals, he is completely unaware of the response he will receive in a country where raï music has yet to be discovered.
Accompanied by his six musicians, Kadda embarks on an arduous road trip covering thirty thousand kilometers in seven days.
While the group discovers the various eccentric features of North American culture, the Canadian public slowly falls under the spell of Kadda's mesmerizing voice.
