In September 1993 it was the thirtieth anniversary of the death of Jean Cocteau. Even with Cocteau dead, Jean Marais' life is closely linked to that of the great poet.

In this film Jean Marais recalls his meeting with Cocteau and their mutual fascination. Even today he only sees one fault in Cocteau : his unbounded generosity.
