Japanscope, panorama de la nouvelle Série-Collection : Cinéma de notre temps

Philippe-Emmanuel Sorlin
2014 - 59 min - HD - France

Philippe-Emmanuel Sorlin and André S. Labarthe draw up an overview of Japanese cinematographers met in Tokyo. This documentary is revealing a dynamic Nippon period in the late 20th Century: a striking cinematographic era of numerous filmmakers with a true aesthetic politic of filmmaking, initiating the comparison with 60's French Nouvelle Vague. A new Nouvelle Vague was born in the Japanese 90's.
