In A Pig's Eye
Atsushi Wada
2010 - 10 min - Couleur - Japon

"A giant pig is lying in front of a house. A strange family lives in the house, albeit made up of a father, a mother, a grandmother, six children and a dog. With no dialogue, bar a few shouts, their bodies move around and seem to repeat their movements in this tiny space. Like animals, they don’t seembothered by the pig. The children even turn it into a fine playmate. In his self-produced films, Atsushi Wada is inspired by a traditional Japanese concept, the ‘Ma’, according to which tension results in movement."
