The starting point of this film is extremely simple : a fixed camera, a fixed microphone, a fixed setting in black and white an a fixed idea... For a month, I asked my friends, acquaintances, people I passed in the street, people I knew well, people I didn't know so well, people I didn't know at all, to tell me a love story. Or, more precisely, a story about a declaration of love. Some came, others didn't. Some told me a story about a declaration of love, others didn't. One person took the opportunity to make me a declaration. The others didn't.
An orange blossom cake ? A handrail in an airport bus ? Jumping across a river and ending up with a muddy leg ? A flight of dragon-flies ? Radical and immediate revolution ? Declaring one's undying love before midnight on New Year's eve ? A pier in the Mediterranean (the very one where Anthony and Cleopatra...)? Saying or not saying your name ? A tall story in a dream ? Sleeping by chance in a stranger's bed ? An early morning cheese sandwich ?
