In spring 2015, Gérald Dederen had one year to leave the workshop where he had been working for the last 30 years. This moving out was an experience of departure and a rupture; it becomes the pretext to discover a place embodied by the Belgian art scene. It addresses issues of the future of the artworks we produce and materials we amass as part of an artistic practice.
