Sobo Swobodnik
2011 - Allemagne - Noir & Blanc - 74'
Hermes Phettberg is the former charismatic presentator of the cult Austrian show "Nette Leit", broadcast daily on Austrian television in the nineteen-nineties. Today, Phettberg is Austria’s most constantly in and out of hospitals with an impressive list of heart diseases. Sobo Swobodnik observes him in the drab lowlands of his everyday life, a man whose body has ceased to obey him. A marginal existence, who once managed to entertain the people but now pays the price for his addictions and sublimations.
