At Nouzonville in the Ardennes, a company specialized in automobile equipment is undermined by the perverse effects of globalization. Bought up by a major American group, it is stripped of all its assets (finance, equipment, patents) then placed in bankruptcy. The workers rebel violently in an unequal struggle between economic effectiveness and morality.
