Slow and contemplative description of hellish noise and darkness, Ronde de nuit plunges us into the night of steelworkers at the coal furnace. Against the dazzling jolts of light caused by coke combustion, the faces of those ordaining this chaos emerge. Views of solitary work, no interviews, little speech, only a few words transmit a sense of fraternity. The radio and the ventilator blade tear up space and the neon lights blind us. The factory provides no comfort, no rest.
