The filmmaker returns to his native city and decides to film the city, not through the eyes of a documentarist, but from the standpoint of memory. This is the city of his childhood, that has survived only in souvenirs, witnesses, signs, the lyrics of a song and ancient photographs. "A documentary on the city would be impossible, for the town is full of building sites. These are a few memories of a type of life and of images from the past that, even though they belong to me, do not make up an autobiography", says the filmmaker.
