My spirited, vivacious eighty-year-old grandfather Abel lives alone in his apartment overlooking the Bois de Vincennes. Despite the recent death of his lifelong partner and wife Fanny, with whom he survived the Jewish holocaust, he continues to live as he always has. But the ghost of Fanny keeps appearing and reviving scattered memories.
