We hear the story of a first strike, that of the young employees of Vélib, the Paris bicycle rental service. We see Paris in black and white, filmed in 16mm, early in the morning. We hear attempts to organise the struggle in the vernacular of the poor suburbs. We see the route of the demonstration they wanted to organise, to Neuilly, the rich Parisian suburb where Vélib has its headquarters. The film questions two relationships: that of the youth from poor neighbourhoods and their place in society, their desire for visibility, and the tense one between image and sound in cinema.
