Hermine Van Hall potters about in the sunny garden, enjoying the greenery and the birds. Ger Lataster, her husband, melancholically watches the love of his life from the house. The elderly couple feels the life they used to take for granted slowly crumble. In this intimate documentary, filmmakers Peter Lataster and Petra Lataster-Czisch—the couple’s son and daughter-in-law—capture the final year of a marriage that lasted for sixty-five years.
