Luc de Heusch, Jacques Delcorde, Jean Raine
1960 - Belgique - Couleur - 16'
At the start, this film was a television commission. The artist had not yet achieved international fame, he was a kindly disposed individual. Magritte is situated, above all, in his work as a poet, a visionary, a perturber of words and images. Paintings are filmed by displacing the frame, in continuity, like a coherent but strange world.
