To live in Palermo, people invent a thousand trades of all kinds. Mingozzi films with great formal liberty the streets and squares of the city, accompanying the practitioners of these crafts with the Sicilian poetry of the great Ignazio Buttitta. The passages of the old town are the protagonists, taken day after day by a multitude of the poor who have become masters in the art of making out, inventing occupations as humble as they are ingenious.
