The Films of the World is made up of an unscreened series of fifty-one cine-tracts. Cine-pamphlets were initially films made from photographic documents of national and international news, an initiative launched in May 68 by the filmmaker Chris Marker. The Films of the World reconnects with this poetic and political cinematic experience by concentrating on the faultlines of the modern world.
