Not far from the Kalahari Desert, in the small town of Okahandja, near Windehoek, Namibia’s capital, we came across a group of women unexpectedly dressed in Victorian style clothes. Over hundred years have gone by since the German colonial armies left Namibia, but their influence is still apparent in the Herero’s lifestyle.
