A day in the life of a Russian village during the winter, at the rhythm of bread-making in the local artisan's bakery. The inhabitants go about their daily business; women walk their children; the rare sellers at the local market bide their time under the snow. A succession of attentive snapshots, a lightly ironic view while waiting, perhaps, for the dawn of a new century.
