A bookshop keeper without a bookshop, a rapper covered with scars, a dyslexic punk who loves opera, a singer fan of X-factor, a mattress too big for the old bed, an umpteenth bomb alert... The Belfast bookshop keeper has built his arc on the scaffolding of his little brick house where hundreds of unsold volumes speak of the wreckage of a city. John Clancy is looking for a new way forward amid the pages yellowed by time and the endless string of cigarettes.
