The Western world is often shocked by how Islam forces its women to cover themselves with a burqa. However, some Iranian women wear these masks for their intrinsic beauty, contrasting their vibrant colours with the black hijabs and chadors. This short documentary takes us behind the masks to reveal the lives of the women who still wear them, taking us on a stunning visual journey across the landscapes of southern Iran.
