The film takes place in Buk Chon and shows two lovers beginning to fall in love. It also portrays the cultural trend at that time. Buk Chon is an area in Seoul where there are still a lot of old-fashioned Korean houses, which are called hanok. It is a place where many people still live, but there are also a lot of hanoK houses that have been turned into cafés or restaurants. Buk Chon, a so-called last resort, is becoming a mixture of old and new fashions.
