José Costa is a ghostwriter, penning stories to order for his paymasters. One night in Recife, he walks through a popular spiritual festival with its roots in Brazil’s colonial past. As a ghostwriter, he must remain hidden in the shadows, an anonymous and silent voice. Tonight, amidst the popular beliefs and magic, there is a chance to rewrite history.
