A summer camp founded by a youth club based in Oran at the time Algeria was a French colony is still going on today in the French Alps. Interweaving the perspectives of the grandchildren of Europeans settled in Algeria, who go to the camp today, and the director's, who was a "colonist at the camp" when she was little, the film questions an endangered spiritual heritage and a war nobody talks about.
