This film lies at the junction between cinema, video art and a contemporary art dispositif, precisely because it tries to escape taxonomies, the classifications of artistic genres, and above all gender identities – the feminine and the masculine, the penetrable and the penetrated, the looker and the watched. The Peg is a film about poetic penetration devices.
