Christian Prigent is a writer. An important writer in contemporary literature, author of novels, poetry, essays on literature and painting, first published by Christian Bourgois then by P.O.L. His life, childhood, family, memories make up the peat of his work, the fuel he burns - and which consumes him -, that he transforms and transcends in the act of writing. His language works on excess, expense, transgression. And then, a detail which is not without importance, Christian Prigent is funny. "Don't make me say what I don't write." Starting from there, it's not so easy to craft a portrait. This is what is at stake in the fine day that Ginette Lavigne offers to share with us...
