Wintertime. At nightfall. Life is slipping by, till the end. While nature is regenerating to the rhythm of cycles, humans are entitled to but one winter. A dawn hunt, reaching its peak with the shooting of a sunrise, goes along with the elaboration of a questioning about the gap between the everlasting return of the cycles of nature and death – individual death, as well as plural and brutal death as bequeathed by human history – but also about the gift of life, represented by light, and about the responsibility resulting from it.
