Spring, 2006, Toulouse. The streets are overflowing. The government “hears those who are demonstrating but also those who are not”. Strikes, huge demonstrations, occupations and blockages. The scene is set. It is the “Anti CPE” movement (a long series of demonstrations against government proposals to relax legal protection of young employees). Two months of routine broken is not much, but it does leave the time to discuss, organize, confront. Strikers, employees, union members, policemen, users “taken hostage”: we are in the front seats. Know how to end a strike? Not to give in.
