Seventy kilometers from Berlin on a former military base rises a huge metallic dome resembling a spaceship. Today this structure houses a striking tropical park. Through the discovery of Tropical Islands and the multiple historical sediments of its site, the film offers a highly individual view of a place with its history, a poetic archeology of our relation to time, space and illusion.
