A diary film in which Ute Aurand finds a subtle and gentle way to make a moving portrait of her parents and their passing: it’s a touching collection of remembrances, of loving recording of sensual phenomena. An intimate and personal film which slowly becomes a universal depiction of human condition. “A montage of recollections filmed in the years before the death of my mother in 2000 and the death of my father in 2007. I stand as an adult in the midst of childhood feelings, gazing at the disappearance of my family home and the changing relation to my parents.” (Ute Aurand)
