Jean-Yves Guilleux, Alexandre Moix
2006 - France - Couleur - 52'
On the thirtieth anniversary marking the disappearance of François de Roubaix, an indispensable artist in cinema, television and music, this film brings together interviews, archives and film excerpts to emphasise the passionate, fascinating and avant-gardist nature of his character. A monument of French cinema, he composed the music to dozens of films. François de Roubaix drew his inspiration from his travels around the world and from the sounds discovered on the ocean’s surfaces and in its depths.
