A football match. The camera lingers on the reactions of the fans showing neither the field nor the ball. Much more than a sociological thesis, Evasi is a meta-filmic essay on the mirror of emotions, the emotional metamorphoses of the human face, in an animated catalogue of gestures that reveals as much of the possibilities of cinematographic language—the revelatory power of the off screen—as it does of our alienations.
