During one year, we follow the work of the artist Henry Heerup (1907-1993), a member of Cobra. Summer he paints, winter he sculpts. Instead of flowers, thousands of sculptures, a botanical garden of trash cans and shelves. His garden is his workshop. With a non-chronological narrative construction, the film sketches an original portrait of this artist, incorporating his impromptu comments on the weather, art and life.
