“Who wants an old, sick person?” asks one of the numerous voices telling their tales of loneliness. First the elderly, then other generations echo their thoughts with other portraits, other fragments of tales. It is mostly voices of women who denounce the violence of the abandonment they have suffered. The rarifying sounds and music, the austere but extremely beautiful images amplify the state of collective solitude that Sára makes us feel. He creates a chorus of individuals. Perhaps nobody is alone or lonely but there are “only” people who have been deserted.
