Ramon is an eighty-nine-year-old farmer who lives alone in the small town of Lleida, Catalonia. His insistent memory often goes back to an episode of the Spanish Civil War – his own story. With the green Renault 4 that has accompanied him for almost forty years, he returns for the first time along the roads where he once fought. And he meets his past, or what remains of it.
