"Une journée avec…" is a collection of ten portraits of West African children. They are between five and twelve years old and live in Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger. We follow them at their height, step by step, during an ordinary day, a day of school with its high points and low ones, its routine and surprises. The films were produced by six producers (two French and four African) in co-production with Arte G.E.I.E. for its Junior programme. The first three portraits, Ato, Ngoné et Fousseyni, shot a few weeks ago have just been edited and are on the point to be finished. They document daily life in the different societies in which the children move, grow up and are educated. The collection « Une journée avec... » is a coproduction between Ardèche Images Production (France), Les Films du Tambour de Soie (France), Impluvium Productions (Sénégal), DS Productions (Mali), Pilumpiku Production (Burkina Faso), Maggia Images (Niger) et Arte G.E.I.E (TV France).
