Little news circulates about Burma and for good reason: it is governed by a military junta that blocks all access. This documentary tells the story of a small network of semi-amateur or semi-pro journalists (VJ means Video Journal or Video Journalists) who attempt to document the life and above all the resistance of the Burmese people in the face of an ultra-violent totalitarian dictatorship. Images, taken on the fly by cameras half concealed in their bags, are edited on site and sent abroad via the DVB network to be retransmitted to the Burmese people via satellite. The raw look of these images shot under intense pressure involves us directly.
