In the prisons of Burkina Faso for some of the detained, days go by each one resembling the next. Indeed from the date of incarceration to the date of the trial, the time can be extremely long and can be assimilated to a full sentence, indeed more. Souleymane Anweba is among the people caught in this trap. He has been detained at the Ouagadougou Prison for six years now, and is still awaiting his trial.
