42 storie da un edificio mondo is the diary of a well-known building in Milan, Viale Bligny 42. But here its hidden intimacy is told, its rhythms of everyday life. The building is both, "house" and "town", normality and exception, a catalyst of dreams and simultaneously a generator of nightmares. The History and the stories: in its stairs and corridors, between a cell of Al Qaeda and a contemporary-art gallery, we meet Vallanzasca the bandit, a girl from Tunisia, an Indian family, a worker... These are stories of sound overlapped and crossed, a mix of musics and shouts and smells and different languages. Everything mixed in the same courtyard.
