In February 1997, Louis Schweitzer, the manager of Renault, suddenly announces his irrevocable decision to close the factory of Renault Vilvoorde within the next three months. Straight after, Renault Vilvoorde's workers get really cross. The picture shows the process of their strike and diverse counter-attacks they start in France and Belgium. While the factory closure is definitive, in spite of the unrest, the film-maker along with some accomplices completely disgusted, prefer to go into a more radicale action.
