How to approach the serious illness and the death of a child in our society? With modesty and dignity,« Do Teddy-bears go to the heaven ? » approaches the numerous, delicate questions that can be raised. It is a documentary for all audiences and a pedagogical tool for medical professionals. In order to come out of their isolation, to break the taboos, four families, relatives, medical professionals agreed to relate their experiences with generosity.
This film explains what pediatric palliative care is all about. It shows the importance of the mutual trust that must exist between families and professionals, and the need for continuity in the patient's care.
