In December 1986, the biggest student protest movement since May of 1968 obtained the withdrawal of the Devaquet Bill on teaching.
In three weeks, hundreds of thousands of students, mobilized around a single demand causing a hard-nosed, clumsy government to yield. Day by day, the film retraces the course of events of the strike.
This documentary does not claim to say or explain everything, but simply to recall that which some would rather forget.
