Each year, tens of thousands of young women study in programmes to become trained nurses. At the "Institut de Formation en Soins Infirmiers", they share their time between theoretical lectures, practical exercises and internships in the field.
This film traces the ups and downs of an apprenticeship that will confront them very early on, and often very young, with human fragility, suffering, sickness and the cracks of body and soul.
