Of German Origin
Nadine Buss
2015 - 45 min - HD - Couleur - France

My father was a ten-year-old German child when he arrived in France with his mother in June 1945. He had left behind a father, his childhood. From that moment on, he silenced his accent, forgot his father who had disappeared in Germany and hid his nationality. All his life, he lived with the anxiety that someone would discover his origin... A few years ago he entrusted me with his notebook of memories. Today, working from the path of his life, archives and animated sequences, I appropriate for myself his history.
