In 1991, inhabitants and artists living in one district of Genova, the Vermont quarter situated behind the station and near the international organisations, decided to organise, in the park near their dwellings, an exhibition with seven elements. This was a new discovery for all the families who used the park, a new way to be in touch with art. Following its success, the exhibition was put on again two years later, this time with 45 artists (including three photographers) in seven different places. Certain artists worked with the gardeners employed in the parks and this experience showed each group the wealth of what the others could bring them.
Some highlights of the exhibition : a sculpture made of sunflowers in continual evolution, the sight of something rarely perceived, the living roots of trees, reflection of what exists under the surface of our lives, twenty-six trees each one bearing, in its frame, a human history of individuals from A to Z, a facetious Cupid offering lovers condoms...
