First the world before the world. Then the horse. Then, cave paintings. And later, way later, motion. Frozen. Decomposed. With silver salt. Marey. Muybridge. The birth of cinema.
Today, some young women, high school girls taking the "horse" baccalaureate. Like a call. A reminder of the caves. What are these apprentice riders dreaming of ? Shooting the bonds they forge with the animal, they who have the horse pegged to their bodies. Shooting this connection.
Unknowingly, they may be expanding some relationship with the world and the wilderness, with something we thought we had lost.
