Marie-Jeanne is alone, the children are long gone, the grandchildren too. Busy. The beasts remain. From her verdant valley, crushed by the heat of the Quercy Blanc, she invents tricks with her animals to forge links between them in the roar of summer.
Here everything is measured in the days of animals which moan, growl, buzz, cackle, chatter but also sing, waddle and thank. Marie-Jeanne lives in the gratitude of her animals in her corner of the Lot.
