Artaud et les Tarahumaras
Raymonde Carasco-Hébraud
1996 - 52 min - 16 mm - France

This film is an up-to-date face to face between the texts that Antonin Artaud wrote about the Tarahumaras (taken from his "Journey to the Tarahumaras' country" in 1936 up to the last poem "Tutuguri" written in February 1948, a fortnight before his death) and the films which Raymonde Carasco made with the Tarahumaras (from 1977 to 1994) on the traces of Antonin Artaud, in Mexico, at Norogachic, the only place mentioned explicitly by Antonin Artaud. Philippe Clévenot's voice brings all its capacity of emotion to the text.
