2007 - 45 min - HDCam - Couleur - France

Accentus has made a name for itself in particular by transcribing orchestral pieces for choir. This film by Andy Sommer is an introduction to the magical “Accentus world” and is constructed like an “a capella” film musical. It combines some of the most beautiful works ever composed with the very unique Accentus Choir, forty men and women directed by Laurence Equilbey.
The film embraces three different visual settings: for one, the intimacy of Laurence Equilbey's apartment on top of Montmartre in Paris, a universe of tranquillity and artistic creation. Then, there is Accentu' spectacular concert at the mythical and newly re-furbished “Salle Pleyel" in Paris and lastly, the film moves through a multi-facetted, imaginary place... a mix of Pop Art and resolutely contemporary style.
